Generosity
Hey Drapers. I was just thinking last nite how lucky my kids are to have such kind and generous aunt, uncles, grandparents, etc. With all the birthday money Mason got he was able to buy a Play Station game. Star Wars Lego something or other. He's quick to tell his friends that he bought it with his money (I'm sure he's not bragging - ha ha) and it was $42. It was nice to have him buy it and not have to keep telling him no, it's too much money. As for Kenzie, she's quite the shopper now. She's always asking to go to Target. She enjoys using the gift card there. Quite the shopper, I tell ya. Anyway, thanks to everyone for everything.

Package Coming
Mom-
Just so you know there is a package coming with Lexi's drip drops and an outfit for Tay that they left at my house. I was also talking to Lexi on the phone today and I was asking her what she was going to do when she got to Utah and her only response was give Grandma a hug!
Love,
Nicole

Another question for Emily
Sorry for blogging this, but it is the easiest and quickest way to get an answer. Kenzie was wondering if Jessie would like a purse or something girly like that for Christmas. Any advice? Thanks for your help.

Hey Em. Do you guys have a sandbox? When you come to Utah we need to draw for Christmas.

Hi Em,
Thanks for the awesome recipe. I made 2 batches this morning and it's definitely the best sticky bun recipe I have ever made. I think I ate about 20. Yum, Yum!

It's soccer time

Here are 2 pictures for all to enjoy. The one of Cam is not so pretty, but I thought Bec would enjoy seeing that she has a barrett in her hair. :) It's soccer time here at the Drapers. How about the Kynastons? As much as I love baseball, soccer is much more fun to watch at the young level. Kenzie has had 2 games and Mason starts on Saturday. Bye!

Love the pictures!!!
The pictures are totally cute. So sad to hear about Camrie's ear infections!! I'm a believer in tubes!! All is well here. Thank you to all for prayers and thoughts on behalf on Lexi. We took her in last thursday and her urine was completely free of blood. We are thankful for that, don't know what was causing it, but if it's all gone...who cares!! School started here last week. All day kindergarten for jessie and 2nd grade fir tay. Tay rode his bike to school today with a bunch of kids. That was hard to let him do that. Lexi is loving the one on one today, she already said that she doesn't miss her brobo or sister. We are excited to see cole and bens new home. We'll see everyone else soon too! Oh yea, I saw Rylie (ryan and becca's friend) today at the "Y". She says hi and hope all is well. Talk to everyone later.

Back to school

Well, the kids made it off to school this morning. We'll see how it went at about 1:30. Here are some pictures. Kenzie was way excited. Mason said he wasn't excited, but he's OK with going to school. Rylie is happy to be in underwear. I'm sure she'll also be happy to go waters in them. :) Congrats on the house Biblers. That's awesome. Bye!
We did it!!
We are now Home Owners. We closed Friday night and we are finally done with all the paperwork. Our new address is 4600 N. College Ave. Kansas City, MO 64117. I will post some pictures as soon as I can find of my digital camera. We have been moving like crazy all weekend and we still have a few things left but we are pretty much done. We will not have a phone for about a week so you will need to call us on our cell phones to get in touch with us or you can call me at work 816-303-7802. I am at work most of the time anyway :) Em and Brian are coming this weekend so we are hoping they can help us break the new house in. I can't wait to see everyone.
Love,

Bummer
P.S. Here's a fun Bear Lake picture if you haven't seen it yet. It shows a little of Rylie's personality - and then some.
The Last Week of Summer
Well, this past week has been a little less of a vacation than it is supposed to be.
Cam has had an ear-ache for about three weeks now. She was on anti-biotics for the 2-week cycle and then when we finished the prescription she got sick again. But this time really bad. : ( She's been pretty sick for the last 3 days now. We took her into the doctor yesterday and he gave her a shot. Then another today. And another for tomorrow. Hopefully that will do the trick.
One upside to the week, though, was yesterday. We went to a BYU Womens' Soccer game vs. UVSC. It was a very exciting game. If you've never seen a college soccer game in person, I would highly recommend it. I was amazed at how skilled the players were. It made me really wish I could have seen Emily play in some of her games. I could picture her out there letting the opposing players have it.
Anyway, tomorrow's the first day of school for the kids and Tuesday's my first day back. I guess it's back to the grind for the Draper clan.
Take care and have a good one,
D

Bear Lake 2005
Well, after several days of not getting this in the mail, I thought I would just scan it so Cole and Ben can get a preview. This is the annual "Draper Family Vacation" drawring. I sent one to Ben last year and had to continue the tradition. Some of it's kind of funny, most of it's not - but hey, I'm still an amateur.
Anyway, Bear Lake was sure fun. I'm ready to go back today.
