Draper Backpackin' 2016

We had a great time backpacking this week in the High Uinta mountains near the Granddaddy Basin. We made our base camp at Lodgepole Lake on Wednesday and day hiked to Fern and Shadow Lakes on Thursday. 

I think the highlights of the trip included spending time together, swatting flies and mosquitoes, deer that strangely circled our camp, fresh air, good food, fun conversation, and beautiful outdoor sights!

A little lava trip

So, we decided to try our first camping trip with Jaycee and I'd have to say it was a success!! We went to our land in Lava Hot springs and it was great!

Jaycee was such a great little sleeper in her portable bed!

I had to capture these two injured faces :)  Bridger got a little face tramp burn, and Blake took a spill on his scooter
