Hudson's #2 Birthday

Hudson had a great birthday! It started with a pickle for breakfast and ended with Betty's for dinner. He loves all of his presents and had so much fun hanging out with everyone.

Kendyl & Laynee

Here are some more pictures of Kendyl & Laynee. We found out today that Kendyl gets to go home from the hospital tomorrow!! We are pretty excited because the trips back and forth every three hours were starting to get hard!

Kendyl with her big eyes and big cheeks!!

Laynee hanging out my hospital room window! She hated the hospital!!

More Lilee FINALLY!

Sorry it's been kinda crazy around the Draper house trying to get use to having a baby. Here are some pictures even though she has changed already from when we took them.

"four generations"

Notice the nice white legs in the background of this picture. :) I had to post it though because Brooke says she looks just like me in this one.

Zoo

So, as most of you know, I TOTALLY miss the Staples family! They moved a few months ago and we've been in some serious withdrawal, but they came to Salt Lake and we went to the zoo yesterday!! YEAH! It was so much fun to see them again and I LOVE how well Bridger and Loren play together!

We had to get the traditional zoo entry picture!
This is how they were for most of the afternoon! Cute, huh.

Bridger is such a fake smiler. He really just wanted to turn around and see the Rhino's.

Here's Blake just trying not to get too much sun!! He loved the stroller ride, but I'm pretty sure he didn't see a single animal!! Good thing ages 2 and under are free!! :)

First Day of School

Here's the back to school pictures that are required each year before the kids can go to school.

Rylie - 1st grade - Mrs. MooreMason - 5th grade - Mrs. McClainKenzie - 8th gradeThe Draper school kids. (Sorry about the shadows Kenz. I don't know what I was thinking taking a picture here.)As for school starting, the saddness for me is that summer days have come to an end. I don't mind that the kids go to school - it's fun for them and it gives me a chance to spend some time with the little kids at home. Besides, everyone comes home by 3:00. Fun, I know.

While the kids were at school and Sade was napping, Cam and I pulled out a brand new box of 120 count crayons. Way fun, I know. I have to say that I love new crayons. I like the smell of crayons, I like the feel of crayons, and I like coloring with crayons. Both Cam and I were in heaven as we colored together.
Another thing I enjoy is sitting outside in the shade at 2:00 waiting for the kids to come home. Fun, I know. They came home with smiles on their faces. Rylie suprised us all by having no problem going to school. No worries, just excitement. Good job Ry. 1st grade is going to love you.

Rylie's First Soccer Game

Rylie's first soccer game of the season was today. She was so excited. (So was I.) She had so much fun and has a cute girl team. She's playing U8 this year but you wouldn't even know she's a year younger than most of these girls. She played fantastic and was just an awesome soccer girl.

Their team decided on the name Stingers. It is going to be a great season, I can tell. A bonus is that when Kenzie's not available to babysit (like she did today) there is a playground right by her field. Fun, I know.
The Stingers consist of Rylie and a lot of girls we don't know. Rylie was making all sorts friends after only 2 practices and informed me after the game that one of the girls that was sitting out with her covered her whole water bottle with grass. Apparently sitting out can be as much fun as playing. Go Stingers!

Trip to Crown Center

I finally posted some new things on my blog - here is one of the posts....
We had a fun trip to Crown Center with some of our friends this past weekend. There was a really cool exhibit of things made out of Lego's!
Laynee loved drawing at the Crayola Store and she didn't even eat one crayon!
