Yellowstone Directions

Hi -
Here are the driving directions to the cabin - hopefully they can get us all there! Also, I talked to the cabin lady and it is fully furnished with pots, pans, silverware etc. She did mention however that we will need to bring soap, shampoo and conditioner. Also, Ryan and I will be taking our air mattress if a few more people want to bring theirs that would be great. You might want to bring a few sleeping bags and blankets too since I don't know how many linens they have. We are getting super excited and just hope that we don't have our baby there! What time is everyone planning on getting there?

Driving Directions:
Traveling North on highway 20 (Island Park is 35 miles long) look for mile
marker 389 or 390 if traveling South and go past marker a little ways
until you see the Phillips 66 Gas Station on the right/East side of the
road.  Turn left/West on Kilgore Road in front of the gas station.  Set
your odometer to zero and go approx. 4 miles and look for the street sign
on the right that says Stamp Meadows Road (Do not turn on stamp meadows
road) take the first left after Stamp Meadows Road. After turning left the
road curves right and continues west, stay on this road for a approx. 3
miles and the centennial view lodge is on the right side.  You will see a
carved wood sign above the front door and the gold house numbers are on a
log post on the cabin.  (you actually have to drive into the driveway and
right up to the cabin in order to see the house numbers.

Pioneer Day

I had to share this picture. We went for a short hike up American Fork canyon called Cascade Springs. We saw fish and butterflies, and we didn't even notice the snake in bottom left corner of the picture until after the pic was taken and we almost stepped on it.

Can't wait to see everyone in like 8 days!

Logan and Bear Lake

Here are some pictures of our Logan/Bear Lake trip. We had such a good time getting away for just a minute. The first picture is at a park in Logan that I'm sure Heather recognizes. The second picture is getting Aggie ice cream. The kids had so much fun jumping off this cement wall. Funny what becomes a highlight of a trip. The next pictures were taken at Bear Lake. Camrie finally got to go swimming and had tons of fun. We all had fun, well, all but Sadie. Oh well. The last picture is the girls ready to go. They were tired and slept the entire 3 hour ride home. Phew.

A new Post...

We had a fun weekend with Aunt Cole and Uncle Ben!! The kids have enjoyed and are thankful for the "Christmas" presents. :) P.S. We (Cole and I) are officially Betty Crockers. We made freezer jam and salsa within 24 hours of each other. Want to know the funniest thing? I remember watching mom and anut pam make all that homeade and canned stuff. I thought they did it because they loved canning!!! I now know the truth:).

Summer in Kansas....

Birthdays and Pictures

Thanx to everyone for a good birthday celebration. Mason was definitely spoiled, and as he said - his wish came true for a skateboard. What more can you want for your birthday than a wish coming true? There were some awfully cute pictures taken on Mason's birthday. The one of Jaxon and Ryan in ready position is a keeper. If anyone has any pictures of Mason with his skateboard, please post. I think that'll be you Jenn.

We have unofficially adopted several neighbor kids thanks to Danen's handiwork in making a sandbox for Bridger!! He loves it!!

Ang's Birth Week

I guess my birth week is technically coming to an end. Thanks to everyone for the gifts and $. It really is fun to go shopping with birthday money. I have already bought the book I want, and am planning to go buy some black frames very soon. Thanks everyone!
And thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a good birthday that included a trip to the driving range with just my husband (that has been a rare occurance lately), present opening, birthday dinner, fireworks, birthday shopping, Mason's baseball game, Panda Express, and an Owlz game.

We love visitors to Utah. It's nice to have an excuse to get together - not that we need an excuse, just ask Danen or Ryan. :) I am constantly amazed at the generosity and kindness of the Draper siblings, but what else should I expect from people with such a kind, generous parents? I feel very blessed that my kids have such wonderful aunts and grandparents.

Yellowstone

Hi -

Yellowstone is rapidly approaching and it's going to be here before we know it! Here are the food assignments for the "campout". There are 15 adults and 11 kids.

Thursday -
Dinner: Josh and Brooke

Friday -
Breakfast: Brian and Emily
Dinner: Danen and Heather

Saturday-
Breakfast: Ben and Nicole
Dinner: Darren and Angee

Sunday-
Breakfast: Ryan and Becca

Mom and I will be bringing lunch meat, bread, pb&j and such for all lunches including condiments (cheese, mayo, miracle whip, lettuce, mustard etc.) We will also be bringing all the milk. Please bring any condiment that might go with your meal (if mom and I aren't bringing it) and also a "snack" to share for lunch like a bag a chips, fruit, cookies etc.....

Check In on Thursday is 4:00pm
Check Out on Sunday is 11:00am
