What's up with Jenn!

It's been a long time since I've posted on the blog so here's a few pictures of what's up....

So- these are just pictures of my wierdo cat. She loves when I stack all the pillows on one couch because it makes caves for her... and the other is of the Kitten and her "friend." I got the little stuffed racoon (it's actually a dog toy) when she was a baby so she wouldn't be lonely and meow all day and night, and it's still her friend. It's an ongoing battle with me and Kitten. I put her friend in her toy basket and she ends up dragging it out everytime! Almost everytime I come home after being gone a few hours, I'll find Kitten and her friend sleeping on the couch. She treats it like her baby and like licks it and tackles it and it's the weirdest thing ever!! At least she doesn't suck on it like her other toys huh?

And these cute little buggars are my new babies!! I recently got a little 10 gallon fish tank with a few guppies. I purposely got a big ole mama so she'd have babies and woo hoo- she had 5! (that lived at least!) :) I love them!

Pumpkins & Snow

Laynee decided she should fill the pumpkin with snow!

Kendyl loves eating the snow!

Laynee wanted a dinosaur pumpkin and this was the best we could do! :)

Ben is pretty serious about his pumpkin carving!

Yes they are practically naked!

Yes - Laynee is giving the same look I have on my face all the time!

Christmas/Thanksgiving and Cross Country

Just a thought - if everyone is in Utah for Thanksgiving it would be nice to do cousin present exchange then.  What does everyone think?  I know a lot will depend on how much Baby Torsell is up to, but it sure would be cool to have all the cousins in one spot - that doesn't happen very much.

Kenzie's Cross Country team finished the season great and took 2nd place at State behind a very strong Davis team.  Darn those Darts.  :)  I liked this picture - check out D and Clayton cheering Kenz on.  (They're in the bottom left.)

We also went to Bryce Canyon for Fall Break.  Fun, I know.

Junior Crown Bearer

Jax was named Junior Crown Bearer for Rangely High Homecoming this year. He got to ride in the back of a truck for the Homecoming parade throwing candy and waving. Then during half time at the Homecoming football game he presented the Homecoming King with his crown. It was pretty cute although I'm not sure how much fun he had. There is just something about boys and suits. They don't think its super cool. LOL. (P.S. the batteries in my camera were dead for the football game. The newspaper photographer is going to e-mail pictures of Jaxon to me. Phew!)

Jaxon's #6 Birthday

Jax had the best day ever! It started out with letting him sleep in. The bus picks him up at 7:12am and if I take him to school we don't have to leave until 8:00am. He woke up at 7:20am. I told him that he just missed the bus and he got to sleep in on his birthday. He smiled really big and said "Oh ya, that means you get to take me to school.". Jaxon had a super fun day at school. He got to wear his birthday crown all day. He got to be the line leader and door holder. He got to take a snack. He got to go to the pumpkin patch with his class and pick out a pumpkin to bring home. And he got a special delivery bag delivered to him by a clown. Jax's day just kept getting better. He helped me make a football field cake that he thought was amazing and the best cake ever. Ryan came home early from practice to help Jax carve his first pumpkin ever and he played with his brothers all night. He had such a good day that I put him to bed at 7:50pm and he hit the pillow and he was out!
