Kids are pretty creative!!!

Hi everyone!
Danen and I walked past the guest room and this is what we saw! Bridger sure has some weird ideas. He wanted to jump in to get the book that Jaxon left in there. Hope everyone is good! Glad that Mom and Dad made it home safe from St. George!

Our weekend...

We had such a fun visit with Grandma (Mom). We enjoyed hanging out at Cole's and Ben's. We played with their toys and tried a few rounds of Rock Band. We went out to eat at a yummy home cookin' Butter Burger place. We shopped till we dropped (mostly window shopped) at The Nebraska Furniture Mart, Cabelas and Target. Cole had a nice shower. It's hard to believe that she is actually having a baby. Her inlaws did a nice job of helping her prepare by getting a load of gifts by throwing her shower. We are looking forward to meeting Bettie Nettie Bibler.:)

We ended up leaving Cole's house earlier than planned due to an incoming ice/snow storm. It's not fun or remotely safe trying to drive in an ice storm. We got home late Saturday evening and enjoyed some competetive Brain Age games. I think that Mom is the champ, but she probably should be since she got to practice on the plane ride over. Sunday was Stake Conference. We made a choice not to drive the hour and 15 minutes, although I'm sure we would of been spiritually fed had we chosen to attend. The down time with the family was fun.

Monday we spent over 2 hours "shopping" in Walmart. We bought a bunch of shirts that look the same. Mom helped me come up with an idea to thank all of the PTO people that have done so much through the year. We came up with..."Thanks for staying sharp and leaving your permanent mark on Eisenhower Elementary" with a Sharpie pen glued to the saying. I'm excited, they turned out well.

One of my favorite parts about the weekend was the long drives with Mom. It really doesn't get any better that alone time talking about stuff that's either important or not. It's just fun to be with her. I'm sure everyone would agree.

We had a wonderful time bonding at the Great Wolf Lodge. Kelcie had never been anywhere like that and had so much fun. She smiled from ear to ear as she bounced from wall to wall. Eating a McDonald's breakfast in our room was one of the highlights along with standing under 10,000 gallons of falling water. Who knew that being knocked to the ground by falling water could be so fun.

Ice Skating

I got to take K, M, and R ice skating Monday. We had soooo much fun. I couldn't believe the little ice skater Ry turned out to be. Mason had a blast crashing more than skating, and Kenzie mastered her double turn. After 2 plus hours I finally drug them off the ice.

What is everyone else doing? We have 2 more soccer games and 2 basketball games and then spring better come or I don't know what we'll do.

Since Grandma is gone to Kansas, (have fun Nicole & Em) we decided to go to the Batemans for a get together. Well, it was fun, awesome, and very yummy! We got there and the first thing Cam says is "TOYS!" since we never have to clean ANY up at our house. Then along comes Grandpa, Jenn, and Robert. Since everyone was there, it was time to bring out the food. Roast beef, rolls, Jell-o, mashed potatoes... what more can you want?! After we ate, we went outside to ride the mini motor bike- the POCKET ROCKET!!! Too bad it wasn't fully charged, and no one ran into a car. (I think Mase has got over that fear.) I also thought it was a good time to go sledding, since we were already at the park. I brought over the sled and we all took a turn going off the jump that was there. We went back home to play. Danen, Darren, and Grandpa had a ping pong tournament. Now for the dessert! Brownies and ice cream... oh yeah! We also looked at Heather and Danen's big screen, opened Valentines, and made a big mess.
Hopefully we get to hang out again sometime soon!!

Our new car...

Hi everyone,

We decided that we didn't want to break down in Danen's car anymore so we traded straight across for this one. I thought since Nicole and I started with the same cars, I would follow in her footsteps and buy a Sonata! (Don't worry Josh...we're still keeping our little goldie) I didn't get that great of a picture...but you can at least see what it looks like and what color it is.
