Soccer, soccer, soccer, and.......cross country?

We had a fun Saturday with 3 soccer games and a cross country meet. Rylie started things out with her first soccer game as a Striker. She looked so cute and her little team played hard to end in a 0-0 tie.
Cam was next playing in her first organized soccer game. She had so much fun and turned out to be a little go-getter soccer player. The other team was really good and scored more than the 3 goals our team scored (Cam scored 2 of the 3).

Mason was next with his first season soccer game. They won 6-0 and he is really showing his amazing passing skills at mid field.
Now for Kenzie's day. She left bright and early to head for her first XCountry meet where he did AMAZING! Keep in mind she hasn't trained with XC in at least 6 weeks. She's been doing soccer but the XC coach contacted her and ask her to run. She was able to go to the American Fork Grass Relays Meet complete with hay bails and a ton of other runners. Kenz ran in the JV meet where she took - 1st place! There were over 250 girls (Juniors and Seniors) in her race and she beat them all with a 13:07 time over 2 miles.
Her time put her in the top 25 of the Varsity racers - 664 of them. Her team blog had the following -
Notable Performances:

Kenzie Draper - 13:07 (1st overall in the Junior/Senior JV Race - even though she's a freshman, and top 25 overall time out of all 664 girl runners)
Crazy enough she was even in the Daily Herald. (Mentioned very quickly at the 3rd to the bottom paragraph.) Although I think beating someone by 9 seconds is not very narrow. :)
Not all Saturdays will be this good, but we'll take one of them.

Drapers back to school

It started last Wednesday - the kids headed back. They're all OK going back but could all use some more summer as well. I feel the same way. Cam starts kindergarten on Wednesday so I'll have some pictures of that later. Here's the big kids:

Kenz - 9th grade (Gasp - her and her friends tie dye shirts every year for the first day)
Mason - 6th grade (king of the school)
Rylie - 2nd grade (cutie pie)

Hudson #3

Our little Huds had a fabulous birthday! We celebrated a little in South Jordan, a little in Denver and a little in Rangely. We decided to go to a Rockies game on Huds' birthday. The drive was well worth it after Huds saw "Dinger" the Rockies mascot and got to pick out a little Rockies bat for his souvenir. Huds loved his Buzz Lightyear cake but mostly he liked to "blow out the fire". Huds is such a joy to have in our family. He is funny, thoughtful, loving, silly, a great brother and we love him lots.

I love you all!!

After the emotional weekend I've had I really felt like I needed to sit down and let you all know how much I love and appreciate EACH one of you!! I can't believe how important family is in my life. I also need to say that I am SO grateful for our Heavenly Father's plan to return to Him when this life is through. It seems like it is always the hard times in life that make you SO thankful for everyone around you. I am so glad that you guys are my family. Danen has felt each of your love over the past couple of days and it has been a blessing.

Sorry to put something so serious on the blog, I just thought it would be the quickest and easiest way to tell you all what I'm thinking. I love you all!!

We just booked us a condo in St. George for October 14-16. It has a pool in case anyone wants to put swimming on their list of things to do. We're excited! This picture is from the last time we were in St. George in February.

Kendyl's 1st Birthday!

We had lots of fun at Kendyl's Birthday! I'm not sure who loved the presents more - Laynee or Kendyl! Kendyl dove face first into the cake and decided forks and hands were over-rated!

School has Begun!

Still working on getting a picture of Tay, he's in 7th grade and thinks he's pretty big! Needless to say, everyone is very happy to be back in school. No complaining yet....Kelcie begins full-day kindergarten in a week. I will miss her sunshine she has shared each day but know that she is SO ready to share her light. (mush mush)

Biblers are coming to Utah

We are coming to Utah October 13th-19th and plan on seeing Southern Utah. It is UEA so if you are up for some cmaping with us let Dad know so he can include you in reservations. See y'all soon!

Grandma O

We had a good weekend with Grandma O. She is so great. We sure love that lady. There's never been a time that when I've been around her that I haven't been laughing in about 5 minutes. She was so funny yesterday nite. Clayton was giving her a hard time about her "romance" novels that she reads and she defended herself by saying, "how else am I supposed to get any sex?" The whole room busted up laughing. So funny.
We had a fabulous dessert with twinkies and whip cream and berries and MMMMMMM. Huds loved it:
Cute cousins eating dessert on the tramp.

Bibler Summer 2010

I haven't posted for months so I crammed everything into one long post of pictures. This pretty much includes our entire summer.

I found these two inside our suitcase using both of our toothbrushes!
This is Laynee flying her first kite!

My Dad and Laynee both sleeping on the floor together.

Grandma reading to Laynee and Kendyl

No adult in the boat or life jackets - good thing they made it back to shore!!

Everyone that swam to the rope.

Do I really even need to say anything?
