Campout 2009
I am trying to come up with the camp out for 2009 and need every ones input for the date. We will be doing it somewhere in the Midwest so keep that in mind. I would like to do it in June but did not know when everyone got out of school. I was thinking maybe the second or third week. Also would everyone prefer Wednesday - Saturday or Thursday - Sunday. Post your reply so I can start to plan.

Hmmm.....

Since I cannot tell a lie,
I guess you all should know...
A little girl or little guy,
will soon begin to show...
It's still quite early to be sure,
but most of you had guessed...
so now the word is out to all,
and I can finally get some rest!! j/k :)
I want you to know that I have ZERO creativity!! All the rest of you must have taken it all!! It took me like 5 hours just to come up with this dinky little poem...but I sure hope you enjoyed it!!
p.s. I am due somewhere around April 14th, so it's still a little early, but Danen was burstin at the seams to get the word out so here it is!

Waterfall
I had to share this picture of Cam. I love it. We went to Thanksgiving Point the other day with Cam's playgroup and had fun. We just went to the free part where you walk around. Cam would not let me take any pictures of her until she found this waterfall. She was happy to pose in front of it. We were just talking about it after church and she mentioned how she loved the waterfall and wanted to take Grandma and Kelcie there. Sounds fun.

A Big Thanks
Big thanks to amazing Gma and Gpa and awesome Aunts that came to Kenzie's soccer game on Tuesday. Nothing like some cool people watching you play sports to make you feel pretty darn special. Here's the directions to Rylie's game. It's at Eaglecrest Elementary just north of 2600 N and 300 W. Turn right off of Alpine Highway at the light at Center Street. There's a pretty new gas station and car wash right there. Go straight through the round about and to the 4way stop at 2600 N. It might also be called Utah Highlands Drive. Turn right (you are headed west). Turn right at 300 W. (It's a 4way stop.) The school is on your right. Park on the north side as her field is in the back on the north part. Game at 1:00. See you there if you can make it. If not, we'll see you some other time.

10 Stitches
We almost made it to Jaxon's 3rd birthday before stitches. Yesterday we were getting ready to take naps and our little busy Huds knocked over grandma's big tall lamp and the glass shattered on Jax's head. As soon as the blood started gushin' I knew it wasn't going to be good. I calmly carried Huds to the top of the stairs, grabbed Jax and carried him up the stairs then called mom. I think the phone call went a little like this:
B: Mom, I need your help
M: What happened?
B: Huds knocked over the lamp in the basement and it shattered on Jax's head
M: Is he okay?
B: I don't think so
M: Is he bleeding?
B: Yes
M: I'll be right there!
I'm pretty sure mom was home in like one minute. I know I am 31 years old but I will always need my mom. She makes everything better. We decided Jax needed stitches and off we went to the Urgent Care. Mom stayed and watched Huds while Jax and I were at the doctor. Jaxon did AMAZING! He didn't even cry. As the doctor was stitching him up, Jax turned to him and said "you should get a t.v. in here". It was so funny. To top it all off, Jax got a coupon from the doctor for a free ice cream cone. He was pretty happy about that!
First days of school
Sorry, it's been much too long since my last post.
Altough it's almost a month past, our first days of school were pretty exciting!! As you can see Lexi is bursting and beaming with the joy and excitment of kindergarten. Her first 2 weeks were half day and now she goes all day. To say she loved it might be an understatement...
The older 2, in 3rd and 5th are big. Can't believe we've been doing this mom/dad thing for more than 10 years. They were equally excited, and remain pretty okay with school still a month into it.
As for Kelcie Beth...her picture needs no words. I decided to put her in preschool 2 days a week for 2 1/2 hours because if she weren't there she'd be at the Y with me. (which she's not nearly as excited about)
Hope all is well.
