The Bateman/Staples campout

We went camping with our neighbors, Amber and Ryan Staples, this last week and it was a blast! Bridger and Loren were super cute and got along most of the time. They loved that they got to play ALL day together!!
This is how they kept themselves entertained while I was making the other bed. They were pretty sad once the beds were off limits.
This is Bridger wondering when we were ever going to stop hiking. he he he
He was fine as soon as Danen let him wear his cool hat
We were SO close to hiking RIGHT in front of this Moose! It was so close! We kept telling Bridger to be quiet because we didn't want to scare the moose, but he just kept yelling "See it!"
Here are the kids playing in the water at Silver Lake. Overall, the entire trip was a success. We loved it and can't wait to go to Lava where we can Play all day again!!!

Disclaimer

For those of you who are blog addicts, I don't post everything on the Draper blog, so keep checking my blog because I do love comments. :) But we did hit a hike and a ball game last Saturday. Fun, I know:

Here "I" am modeling the new clothes you gave me for my birthday...Thanks so much. It was really fun to go shopping!!! LOve you all,

Emily

Jessie's Cavity...

Jessie had to got to the dentist and get a huge cavity fixed. The dentist (Brian) was nervous to work on her because she had a HUGE cavity. Dr. Kynaston said that JEssie was a FABULOUS patient. Much better than her Mom who tells the dentist how to do his job. I think she'll try to do a better job brushing now.

Summer in Kansas....

We have enjoyed many activities this summer.

Jess and Tay played in a 3 v 3 soccer tournament. They both had a fun time of all day soccer. Jessie enjoyed soccer camp the first week of June---she definitely likes soccer and has a work ethic that should take her very far. This is a picture of Jessie and some of her teammates and one of her coaches at the tournament.

Lexi has had a good time in tennis lessons. She says that out of all of the sports she's tried that she like tennis the most.

Taylor had a good time with Camp Invention. It's a Math and Science camp that explores ways of using recycled items to invent purposeful objects. Their group invented a great water balloon popper using a piece of pipe cut in half as the ramp, and pins and part of a hard drive taped to a cardboard encasing as the actual "popper". It was fun for Tay because he really thrives in a scientific envirmonment.

We have had fun swimming this year. It's been such a fun way to spend time together being active.
Kelcie is always a trooper...she really gets hauled around and has no complaints!!

War-mart

This is how it went down this morning. I had given Jaxon a stuffed animal out of the closet that he had never seen before. He looked at the stuffed animal, grabbed the tag like he was checking it out at the check stand and said, "This is a hundred bucks from War-mart". WOW, do you think his mom shops at Wal-mart all the time?

Chest Bumpin'

This is what we do for fun. It was so hilarious to watch Bridge and Jax chest bump Mom. I'm pretty sure Jax had never seen this before but Bridge taught him well and he picked it up pretty quick. As for the "tiny, tiny, tiny people for the train station, Grandpa can't touch them". :o)

Does it get any better than this??

I am having so much fun seeing Laynee change every day. She is starting to get so big - I think she might even try rolling over soon. She is still a super laid back & good baby. Ben says I can have 5.

My Full Heart......

My heart is so full and words will never be enough to express how thankful I am for the thought and the time that went in to gathering pictures for our family. As I look through the photos and the cd's I can't help but have tears running down my cheeks to think that you (Ang and everyone else that helped) care so much about me to do something so meaningful and special for me. I have felt such comfort over the last few months knowing that I have such a great family and such a great support team behind me. I will be forever grateful for the pictures that I can now turn into books of memories for our family. Thank you!

Sunday's At Grandma's

Looking back and being grown-up now, I never realized how important Sunday's at Grandma's house were and the many special memories I hold dear to my heart from visiting each week. I want our boys to remember how specials Sunday's are at their Grandma's house too. Here are a few pictures from today. Also, this is for Kenz. It's totally okay to have toes that are uneven. It makes you who you are!

A little Saratoga Splash parade for ya!

I hope this video works for you. It's pretty short, but as I was watching it I kept thinking of all the dang cute videos that Emily used to post of Kelcie's sweet dance moves. I couldn't help but laugh when I realized that this is about all the dancin we're gonna get out of Bridger. Maybe at Lava Kelcie can teach him some new moves.

Happy Birthday Em!!

I went through all my pictures and I discovered that I dont take pictures of Emily. Sorry Em! I hope you have a happy birthday! It was fun seeing you this weekend. I will try to take more pictures of you from now on!!

Visit from the Kynastons #2

We had a lot of fun this weekend with the Kynastons. We got to have a sleep-over with all the kids while Em & Bri went on a date for Emily's Birthday and their anniversary.

Jessie has so much fun with Laynee and I think she probably asked to hold her about every 5 minutes. She was so good at it and Laynee loved her!! This was Laynee's favorite way to be held.
We finally talked Taylor into holding her and he decided it was actually quite fun. He even wanted to hold her again a few times after that.
Em & Bri were pretty worn out the day after their date.... I guess it was rough going to a movie, out to eat and shopping!! :)

We all went to the Royals/Giants game on Saturday night and it was lots of fun! I really like the Royals stadium because no matter where you are sitting you can see the game pretty good. They also got a huge new LCD scoreboard and it was pretty neat!

Kelcie enjoyed the snow cones & cotton candy! - I don't think she even realized there was a baseball game going on!
Taylor and I had to walk down two levels to find the dippin dots - that was why I wanted to go to the game!!

This is what Laynee looked like when we got home - it must have been a fun day and she was worn out!!

Fun at Aunt Coles!

The Kynaston kids got to sleep at Aunt Cole's house last night while their parents went on a date. So far we are having lots of fun hanging out! Laynee loves to sit and watch the girls play. We haven't been able to talk Taylor into holding her yet - its only 10am and we have hope! :)
Isnt this a look Emily has in her younger pictures?? She really was smiling - the picture just caught the wrong look.

We had fun flying outside!!

Dinosaur National Monument

I think it's so funny that I didn't take any pictures of the beautiful surroundings while camping. But don't you worry, I found this picture on my camera that Jaxon had taken. Absolutely beautiful. I don't know if I am the only one that can't cut and copy my posts to this blog but I'll try to post things here as well.

Father's Day (Sorry it's so late)

Hi again! So, I realized that I never posted any of my father's day pictures so here ya go!!
