Winter Finally Came

It took until March, but we finally got a winter week that produced some snow to play in. 

The kids had a great time playing in the snow.  D and I also played in the snow up American Fork canyon with our snowshoes.  It was so beautiful!

Anyone else want to come next week?

Draper Family Campout!

I getting really excited for the campout this year!! We have the camping site reserved right near Bear Lake and the Minnetonka caves! :) It's going to be $50 per family and you can send me a check or pay as soon as possible. Draper Girls

I just wanted to share a few more pictures. Lilee loves to put hats on Gracee so she has one on all the time. Lil also thinks that she is big and whenever we drive she has to has her sunglasses on like mom and dad, even though they are upside down!

We went to a Canyons School District film festival.  Mason had an indoor soccer game that his grandpa went to.

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! We have had a really fun day. I decorated the table with candles and gifts. Then we ate dinner by candle light. Pizza for the boys. Chinese for Ryan and I. I got each of the boys a little Denver Broncos shot glass. They love those little cups so it was even more fun to have Sprite in them for dinner. My friend made this cute little hat for Brynnlee for Valentine's. Love it! I got my haircut today for Valentine's Day. I love it. I sent a picture to everyone but Ry said the picture doesn't do my hair justice. He says it's way cuter in real life. And poor East.....been sick all day with a fever. Hopefully he doesn't spread the love. Ha Ha.

First Monthly Movie Night

Grandpa and Grandmas Movie Night

It's the second Saturday of Feb. this weekend. Movie time 5:00pm. Drop the kids off and enjoy a couple of hours together. Movie to be announced. Feb 11th.

Snowshoeing

Saturday was our first snowshoeing adventure.  We met Clayton at Little Cottonwood Canyon and decided to head off on the White Pine trailhead. 

We followed the worn trail for a bit and then decided to venture out on our own and head to a big, snow covered rock.  Fun, I know.

We had some snacks at the rock and did a little sledding where the only one that could make it down the hill was Camrie.  Rylie kept turning around backwards and getting stuck and Clayton and Sadie only made it half way down. 

We all hiked back to the parking lot (except Sadie who was pulled in the sled - lucky) and called it a success.

It was such a fabulous afternoon!  The weather was great and the snow was a beautiful sparkly powder.  We'll be back there soon.
