Stuff

D and I got to chaperone Kenzie's XC trip to Idaho.  While there wasn't much chaperoning to do, we watched a lot of races.  Kenz had a great race finishing the 5K in 19:32 including sand.  She told us to "hang loose".  :)

Nothing says cross country like a line of porta-potties.  

Our Saturdays consist of a bunch of soccer games.  Sadie is enjoying her season, even scoring a goal.  If you have seen Sadie play, it's kind of a big deal.  :)  Her team last year didn't win a game (not fall or spring season) and this year they are 4-0.

Homecoming is tonite.  I can spot 2 things that give away Kenz is a runner - her running watch line and her sock line.  :)

I've been on a few hikes this school year.  This one is up BCC to Willow Heights.  There is a moose in the background, above the ducks, but it is too hard to see in the grass.

This is up American Fork Canyon this week.  The leaves are breathtaking.

Harper's Corner

We took an amazing hike on Saturday to Harper's Corner. It was perfect for the boys and between Ryan and I, we carried Brynn. When we made it to the top of the hike the view was incredible! It was a great way to spend a beautiful fall afternoon. By the way, cicadas shed out of their skin and we saw their empty shell things every where. It was sick!

Jax's Baptism

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that Ryan (hopefully) :-) will be baptizing Jax on his birthday Saturday, October 19th here at our church in Rangely. We'll be having Dad do the confirmation then a dinner type thing probably at our church for family and friends. Let us know if you want to make a weekend out of it. We have lots of exciting things to do here in Rangely (ha ha)!

Thanks for coming to Kenzie's meet.  She is having a great XC season.

We had a marathon soccer Saturday.  I left the house at 7:40am and got home at about 6:30pm.  Phew.  The kids had fun so it was worth it and Sadie won her first game ever.  They didn't win a game last year but came out on top Saturday.  :)

Kynaston Update

We are moving! We close on the house on Sept. 27. What a crazy adventure we are about begin!  We  have mixed emotions as we love our neighborhood, yard and friends that live near us now. I hope that the move proves worth it! We have more room for visitors...hope to have some soon. :) More information later :)

Draper Family Get-Together 2014 - Update

We've settled in on the following dates for the 2014 Draper Family Gala:

With ten months of planning time we hope all can make it! The difficulty we've been having, though, is with finding an affordable location that won't require people to poop in the woods.
