I'm ready for more opinions...

Hi family,
I'm ready to hear some more opinions on the family campout situation. I was wondering how people would feel about going to Bear Lake again. I know that it would be a repeat of a campout that was already well done...but there seem to be plenty of cabins there and everyone seemed to have a good time last time. We are definitely still looking into some other options, but I wondered what you all might think about that.
THANKS!!!

New Post....

I'll pass the time waiting for other posts by posting a few pics from this past month.

First day of school pics for all the kids....the older kids got their picture taken "after" school. There were about 100 parents walking their children into school. My kids jumped out of the van and were inside the school before I had a chance to ask them if they wanted me to go in with them. Where did they learn the INDEPENDENCE?

LExi has had fun being an experienced preschooler this week. The teachers appreciate having her in class because she has been such a helper. She has been very happy and fun the positive encouragement and interaction is paying off.

Bri went to a Chiefs game last week. He brought home shirts for the kids. The kids loved the shirts and posed for this picture for Aunt Cole and Uncle Ben. Go CHIEFS!

The holding hands picture is a good old fashioned game of Red Rover. We also played Capture the flag and Red Light Green Light.

Still Waiting...

Can anyone guess what I'm waiting for?

I would like some suggestions....

Okay, family, I would love to hear some feedback from all of you regarding our family vacation 2008. I would LOVE to go to Lava Hot Springs, which is what I had been planning this entire time, but I've run into a few road blocks already. I have contacted several people at Lava, and I have also done a ton of internet research and I have been unable to find a cabin/lodge that would accomodate all of us (we are sure getting big!!) SO...I would like to hear some opinions on the matter. At Lava, the only thing that I could find that would accomodate our group is a campground (at least it has bathrooms, showers, etc. I think) They said there is also a large pavillion, fire pit, etc. The only other option right now is to rent multiple cabins that are relatively close together.
OR...we could go somewhere else. I haven't really looked into any other options, but I would GLADLY welcome any suggestions.
THANKS!!!

My Be's for Bec....

First Day of School

Here are some first day of school pics with the kids and their friends. I have a 6th grader - I must be old or something. All is well.

Five days and going strong!

Hello everyone!
It's been five days since I've moved away and I am having so much fun! I started my classes and I like most of my roomies. (We've had a boyfriend problem with the one! He is there more than I am!) I'm mostly having fun meeting people.
I've been to Val's a lot, I love hanging out with her, I think it's because it's kinda like a home away from home. Uncle Jon also helped me get a job! I'll be working in the computer lab. I'm not sure when I start though, I'm still filling out the payroll information and stuff.
I hung out with Christina last night, and that was fun too! It's nice to have some older friends here too!
Ang, we do have P.O. Boxes, but I opted not to get one because my apartment mailing address works fine.
I'm getting excited for Labor Day weekend so I can come home and see most of you! (I'm excited for Dude's wedding weekend so I can see more of you!) I'll talk to you all soon!

Love, Jennica
PS- I love letters and phone calls too!

Mason's Baptism

Hey everyone. For those who can make it, Mason's baptism will be Saturday Sept. 1 at 12:00. It will be at the stake center that is on 1200 E. That's the main road that runs North/South that is just East of our house. From our house it's North and East. It will be in the chapel. We'll come back to our house after (if you want) and we'll feed you.

Thanks!

Yellowstone...Birthday Thanks....Mexican???

Here are a few pics from our Yellowstone trip. I have a lot more. MAyne I'll post them next. We really enjoyed the cabin, family and food. Although it is hard to keep all 24 of us happy...I really liked when we did stuff together as groups. The kids had fun being with cousins, aunts, uncles and grandma and grandpa. Jessie loved seeing the bear. Taylor especially enjoyed Old Faithful and the Castle Geyser. Lexi loved the mouse and playing with the kids and Kelcie just said "what the heck?" Anyways, thanks for the wonderful time.

The quilt on my bed is from all of you. I got it with my birthday money. Thanks so much!! I've been waiting to get something like this!!
