Collectors Item - GI Joe Aircraft Carrier USS Flag

I finally unpacked the box that Mom gave me when she moved. This was a toy my older brother and I got about 20 years ago for christmas. At the time it was the biggest (about 8 feet long) and coolest thing ever, Heather disagrees with me about it being that cool now though. I was very amazed that it was mostly complete. There are a few broken pieces that I managed to make work. Bridger loves to climb on it and play with it. Its pretty much a collectors item now, I checked them out on Ebay. When we have army wars at my house I call I get this as my base.

Weather in Kansas....
The weather has been great...average mid 60's so we can't ask for better than that. Things have been busy. Kelcie's birthday was nice. Here are a few pics. The real party wil be this weekend. As opposed to the fake one we had yesterday:) Spring break is this week. The kids are home all week. Hopefully thier mom can come through with something fun to do. We went to the Y this morning...for anyone that knows me you know how hard is for me to break my regulary scheduled routine. The kids played, I exercised. Then we came home and I've nb
een trying to make the house look clean ever since. Oh ya, Brian is very allergic to our cat so I wash sheets, vaccum, dust etc non-stop so we can keep him. We are slowly trying to convert him to an outdoor cat. It's kind of hard...cat---husband---cat----husband---well I guess we'll keep our dad:).

Kelcie's Birthday
How was the big day for the 2 year old? What cool cake did she get? Her present has been sitting here for about 2 weeks. Who can get to the post office? Post pictures when you can.

Introducing...
Sadie C. Draper
Born: 6:48am, March 6, 2007
Born: 6:48am, March 6, 2007
IT'S A GIRL! Angee had our baby yesterday morning. She went into delivery mode Monday night at 10:30 and woke me at midnight to tell me that it was time to get to the hospital. On our drive to the hospital I kept assuring Ang that if things got too hard for her, I would scoot over and take the wheel. : )
After a LONG night, the baby finally came at 6:48 this morning. A healthy girl, 6lbs, 14oz, 19in (I know, those numbers really mean nothing to us men, but those of you who are women somehow find them interesting).
On to the pics:

From the Home of the Kynaston Klan...

The kids participated in an afterschool program which included them making their own fleece hat and mittens. They just finished them this morning. Lexi is still enjoying our cat. He's quite nice. However, I am an animal lover and usually like the animals that reside in our home. I hope I can keep it vaccumed and cleaned enough to keep the allergens out for possible visitors. It is so very very very cold today. It's about 27 degrees and super windy!
I'm also accepting opinions about what paint color to paint our kitchen. Please post your favorite color swatches....maybe you'll be a winner. It is currently yellow, which I like, but I think we have a bit too much since the dining room is yellow too. Our cabinets and trim are oak, and I decorated with black accents....
