Baby names (for Ryan)

You know, I've been thinking that perhaps baby boy Torsell needs an October name. Maybe you could go with Reggie or Chipper or just Jones. Maybe Joe Torre Torsell. You could call him JT. Or perhaps Albert and we'll nick name him Pujols. No one would make fun of that name. Just trying to help. Hope Becca has that baby and is feeling like making snacks and treats for the World Series party at your house. Bye.

Is anyone out there??

Are we all so boring we don't have anything to post or are we all so busy we don't have the time to post it? Any news on a new baby yet? I am tired of working ten hours days but other than that everything is good. I can't wait for hunting season so we can be at the Kynaston's hanging out every weekend!! I thought we needed a new Blog. Talk to everyone later.

Love ya,

Nicole

Slackin'

Okay, I am slacking a little with postings on the blog. We have some fun pictures of Josh and Heath's birthday and stuff. As soon as our lives slow down a little (after the baby and after moving and after finishing the condo and after having a nervous breakdown j/k) and as soon as I get the internet hooked up at our condo I'll get everything posted. I'm pretty sure the baby will be here ANY day so we'll be calling everyone when that happens. We can't wait to be done with all of this.............

Question for Emily

Hi Em. I was trying to think of the game that you brought last Christmas with the animals and the barn and such. Help me out. Thanks.

Reservations have been made....

We have reserved campsites for the family campout next July 20, 21, 22 (nights). To help everyone understand why whoever pays however much here is a simple explanation of campground costs:

$29 a night for 2 people each additional child ages 6-18 $3 more each night. Adults $4 more each night. We found out that you can have up to 8 people on one camp site. With that in mind, we reserved three campground sites. The three sites can have as many tents as you want, but just 8 people. For simplicity's sake we divided the campsites up in order to make it the most cost effective for everyone. Keep in mind, we can set tents up where ever when we get there. This is the cost for the reservations:

Mom, Dad, Becca, Ryan, Baby, Jenn and Josh-----$56.44

Heath, Danen, Cole, Ben-----$49.20

D, Ang, Kenz, Mas, Rylie and Cam----------$47.10

This total is for the first night only. We have already paid for this. When ever you get a chance you can mail us a check for this amount. Don't stress over it, just try to pay us when you can. The other nights will be $10 less per night and you all will take care of that yourselves upon arrival to campsite. We'll just pay day to day, which means, if you want to stay longer you can. Thanks for all of your cooperation and input.

I have to agree with Heath. The leaves are so awesome right now. We went down to Richfield and saw the most spectacular show of fall colors I have ever seen. The reds were incredible. Wish you all could have been there with us. We had fun taking some pictures. I know it's to many to share, but I'm sharing them all anyway. We miss you guys!

I also wanted to update you on Danen...he went to the doctor yesterday and they just gave him some new medicine and some 800 mg ibuprofin and told him to come back in 2 weeks! So much for doctor's helping you feel better, huh. Well, if anyone is in the mood for a beautiful drive you can come visit us up here in Logan!

Please Respond No Later than Wednesday September 20th

Here's a break-down of the prices of where we are looking at for the campout next year. It looks like showers are a necessity and flush toilets too. None of the campgrounds that are ran by the National Forest has either of those amenities so we opted for a KOA Campground about 5 miles from Mt. Rushmore. PLease read the information carefully and make your decision based on your price range, needs, and/or wants.

Mt. Rushmore KOA is by far the largest and most complete camping facility that the Black Hills region has to offer. Located only five miles west of Mt. Rushmore and within minutes of Crazy Horse mountain and all major Black Hills attractions, Mt. Rushmore KOA is nestled along Palmer Creek at the base of Harney Peak. Offering camping experiences from tenting along a creek or in the woods, to "roughin' it" smoothly in a large, flat, 50 amp, full service campsite, Mt Rushmore KOA is much more than a nice campsite. It is picturesque granite mountain views and abundant amenities. Kamping Kabins are the newest and hottest item in the camping industry and Mt. Rush more KOA has 55 of them to offer. Kamping Kabins offer an inexpensive way for you and your family to enjoy a quality camping experience without having to purchase expensive camping equipment.

KAMPGROUND
Tent / No Hookup Site:Each Tent/No Hookup Site includes a parking pad, fire grate and picnic table.

Water & Electric Site:Each Water & Electric Site includes water & electric hookups, a parking pad, fire grate and picnic table.

Water, Electric & Sewer Site:Each Water, Electric & Sewer Site includes water, electric & sewer hookups, a parking pad, fire grate and picnic table

Water, 50 amp Electric & Sewer Site:Each Water, 50 amp Electric & Sewer Site includes water, 50 amp electric & sewer hookups, a parking pad, fire grate and picnic table

Deluxe Full Hookup Site:Each Deluxe Full Hookup Site includes water, 50 amp electric & sewer hookups, a large pull thru parking pad, fire grate, picnic table, patio, cable TV and telephone access.

KAMPING KABINS

One Room Kabins:These Kabins consist of a room with a set of bunk beds, a double bed and a loft bed (sleeps five people), electricity, lights, a door that locks, porch with a swing and an outdoor picnic table and fire ring.

Two Room Kabins:These Kabins consist of one room with two sets of bunk beds, and another room with a double bed (sleeps six people), electricity, lights, a door that locks, porch with a swing and an outdoor picnic table and fire ring Whether you prefer a one room or two room Kamping Kabin, you provide your own bedding and cooking equipment. Restrooms and showers are located in one of our six shower house buildings a short distance from your kabin. Kamping Kabin guests enjoy the use of all resort facilities.

Dad and Mom Draper Family:
1 room cabin 54.95 a night
tent/tent trailor no hook ups 36.00 a night
tent trailor hook ups 44.00 a night

D Draper and Family
2 room cabin (have rule on number of people that can be in each cabin) 69.00 a night or you could get a 1 room cabin and have one of the older kids sleep with mom and dad which would add $3 a night to thier price, but ultimately save you guys money because then it would cost 57.00 a night

tent/tent trailor no hook ups $35 a night
hookups $41 a night

The Torsells
1 room cabin $55 a night
tent $29 a night

The Batemans and Biblers
1 room cabin $55 a night
tent $29 a night
share 2 room cabin with biblers $35.50 a night (each)

That sums it up. Look at the options and choose wha't best for you. The spaces are filling quickly and we need to make a reservation so please let us know what you'll do no later than next wednesday. Thanks for your cooperation and input. If you want to see what's going on in that area I checked out some neat South Dakota websites last night. Just Search South Dakota and go from there.

Lexi's B-day

Em- I just found out that I have Graduation on October 1st and so I will not be able to make it that weekend. The next weekend that I don't have either a wedding or Ben's family stuff is the 22nd. It looks like I will be mailing my present. I will call her later to tell her I can't come. :( I will be coming there quite a bit soon because hunting season is just around the corner. Ben has been dove hunting everyday this week.

D&Ang- I thought you guys would like to know that I will be at a Cubs game in Chicago next Saturday. Too bad you can't come with me.

See everyone soon. (hopefully)

Baby Update

Hi-

Just got back from the doctor and I measured smaller today than I did 2 weeks ago. My doctor said the earliest we can talk about having this baby would be October 2nd, but then said in the same breath that it looks more like the baby is due on October 11th (Heath's B-day). So, either way, I'm looking at a few more weeks. I guess there is a plus to this.....we are supposed to close on the condo September 30th and that would give us plenty of time to get the place painted and all ready to move in (if the baby comes on the 11th), so keep your calendars open because we are going to need all able bodies to help move and paint. :o) Think about me tonight when you roll over in your bed with absolutely no trouble at all....... Love you all.

Family Campout 2006

We are excited to plan next year's campout, and when I say we I mean Brian. He's been researching places to go and things to do and before he continues, we would love some feedback. At this time, we are very interested in South Dakota (Black Hills National Forest)---(Mt. Rushmore) It will be a 10-11 hour drive for Utahn's and a 11-12 hour drive for Bibler's and Kynaston's.

1. In what price range does each family want to spend per night? ( 3 nights, 4 days)
2. Are showers and flush toilets a necessity?
3. If they are a necessity, are you willing to pay "extra"?
4. How far are you willing to drive? Is something like explained above too far?
5. Are you more interested in camping in the forest, at a KOA campground, or in cabins?
6. Which date is best for you? July 13, 14, 15 or July 20, 21, 22 ( both dates leaving for the long drive either the day before or in the very early moring, and leaving the day after whenever we checkout)

Let us know what you think...Good or bad....

baby news

Good news, we are still having a little boy and there is only ONE little guy in there! Other good news, the ultra-sound is calculating 35 weeks and the baby is a little over 6 pounds, so we'll have to wait until my doctor appointment next week to see when we can have him. At first Ryan said he definitely has my nose but then we took a closer look and it's pretty pointy so I'm going to say he has Ryan's. We'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for all the thoughts. Love you all.

Here I am!

I thought I'd create a blog since I was getting made fun of for never posting anything! Danen is doing the same, and they're still not sure what's wrong...but it SURE was fun to sit in the ER for 4 1/2 hours on a holiday! :) Work is going good today, and only 2 more days of waking up early this week! YEAH!!!! This picture is of me waiting for the volleyball to come over the net and attack me! I sure love you all!! It was so fun to see Em, Bri & kids this last weekend!!
I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the ultrasound results....please let me know what's up when you know. I love all the pictures. And I definitely belong to a family of comedians...from "roton's" to "warrior's" you guys are all full of it! Love you all, we had a wonderful time visiting. It was too short but very much enjoyed.

and the warrior courageously defending his people.....

Labor Day Fun

Just a thought

Darren and I liked how Tim and Kara gave Sophie the middle name of Markelle after her 2 grandfathers. We're thinking of adding a middle name to Camrie after her 2 grandfathers. Her name shall be Camrie Roton Draper. (Ross + Clayton) Get it? Rotten? We laughed, hope you do too.
